Where to stayThe Wild Atlantic Way (WAW) is the world's longest defined coastal touring route, stretching 2,500 km along Ireland's west coast, from Donegal to Cork. As of 2026, the regional accommodation market requires strategic planning: due to the route's linear nature, we recommend dividing your trip into regional "hubs."
- North (Donegal/Sligo): Perfect for nature lovers and surfers. Accommodation here is more secluded and authentic.
- West (Galway/Connemara): The heart of Irish culture. Ideal for those seeking a mix of urban energy, high-end gastronomy, and dramatic landscapes. This area features the highest density of luxury hotels.
